ComfortEdge PLUS is an efficient high-performance glass system. The glass unit
is 3/4" overall.

•	The outside lite is our soft-coat, 11 layer, split silver, solar control Low-E glass (see opposite page).
•	The interior lite is clear glass or can be ordered with our optional UV-Ban glass that blocks 99% of harmful and damaging ultraviolet rays.
•	The dead air space is filled with argon, a gas that is heavier than air, improving the performance and insulation value of the glass.
•	U-Factor .25 / R-value 4 / UV Transmittance 31% or .2% with the UV-Ban option.

ComfortEdge ULTRA is our most cost-effective high-performance glass system. The glass unit is 1" overall.

•	The inside and outside lite is our soft-coat, 11 layer, split silver, solar control Low-E glass.
•	The center lite is clear glass or can be ordered with our optional UV-Ban glass that blocks 99% of harmful and damaging ultraviolet rays.
•	The dead air space is filled with argon, a gas that is heavier than air, improving the performance and insulation value of the glass.
•	U-Factor .15 / R-value 6.7 / UV Transmittance 15% or .1% with the UV-Ban option.

ComfortEdge EXTREME is our highest performing premium glass system. The glass unit is 1" overall.

•	The inside and outside lite is our soft-coat, 11 layer, split silver, solar control Low-E glass.
•	The center lite is clear glass or can be ordered with our optional UV-Ban glass that blocks 99% of harmful and damaging ultraviolet rays.
•	The dead air space is filled with krypton, a gas that is heavier than argon, improving the performance and insulation value of the glass even more.
•	U-Factor .10 / R-value 10 / UV Transmittance 15% or .1% with the UV-Ban option.

ComfortEdge™ Spacers Help Your Windows Last Longer

Nu-Sash windows feature the ComfortEdge Spacer System. The U-shaped design reduces the surface area and mass of the spacer, eliminating one of the two energy-transfer bridges found in conventional spacers. In addition, the spacer is made of an alloy material which insulates up to 15% better than aluminum.

ComfortEdge™ spacers flex instead of the sealant during temperature changes, so they resist spacer movement and sealant failure.

Strengthen your weakest link

Nu-Sash Hardglass® is stronger than regular window glass. Standard windows
are made from single strength 3/32" glass. The same thickness of Nu-Sash
Hardglass® is at least four times stronger (as shown in the graph).
It can withstand impacts up to 24,000 lbs. per square inch. A window this
strong can protect you and your loved ones from the unexpected
punishment of violent weather, accidents, and unwanted intruders
