Bay, Bow and Garden Windows


When it comes to our bay, bow and garden
windows, beauty is not our only priority. The quality
of our construction can not be beat. Our head, seat
and side jambs are constructed utilizing hand-selected
furniture-grade 1-1/4" hardwood veneer, available
in oak or birch.

All vertical mullions are constructed utilizing
Timberstrand Laminated Lumber. The unique solid
wood design offers superior strength and support,
compared to hollow vinyl mullion constructions.
Timberstrand is 25% stronger than wood. The
exterior is maintenance-free uPVC vinyl. The head
and seat are anchored to the vertical mullions with
6" lag bolts. The bolted assembly provides for the
strongest frame made.

Optional 3/8" thick glass shelves with polished edges.

Standard operating flanker sash with matching screens.

Options

Optional pre-insulated super seats

Unique layered design combines 1-1/4" hardware
veneer with a 1" high-density polystyrene foam
core that is laminated to 3/4" exterior grade
plywood. The super seat is 3" thick and provides
R-7.5 insulating value.

Hardwood interior casing

Variety of elegant hardwood casing. Available in
oak or maple to coordinate with bay, bow or garden
windows. Hardwood casings add beauty and old
world craftsmanship to our handcrafted specialty
windows.

Factory Finish

Bay and bow windows are available pre-stained
and sealed from the factory. We offer a variety of
colors, including those to match our woodgrain
interiors - Light Oak - Dark Oak + Custom Colors.

Plastic laminate seats

Bay and bow windows are also available with
plastic laminate seats. The man-made material
is maintenance-free, scratch resistant and
waterproof - ideal for plants!

Support Systems

Two unique systems to best fit your needs.
These eliminate bay and bow sagging or
bowing.

- Adjustable cabled hanging system is standard
on all of our bays and bows.

- Pre-finished exterior knee braces are optional
for a more decorative look.

Edge Banding

Finishes the front edge of the veneered plywood,
enables the interior casings to be installed with
a reveal.

Prefabricated hip-style roofs

Our wood roof system compliments the bay or bow
window exterior when a roof is required. These roofs
are engineered and manufactured at the factory
to perfectly fit your new bay or bow window for a
picture perfect installation.
